Rob Crawford of Renaissance South Named Remodeler’s Council Chair
Charleston, S.C. - Robert C. Crawford III of Renaissance South Construction Company, a general contracting firm that specializes in restoring and remodeling residential properties, has been named chairman of the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association Remodeler's Council for a one year term that began in January. This will be Crawford's second time serving as chairman of the council, having previously served in this role in 2006 and 2007.
Crawford, founder and owner of Renaissance South Construction Company and of its parent company, Urban Proper Redevelopment, is a licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor and residential builder in South Carolina. Voted "Remodeler of the Year" in 2006 by the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association, Crawford has earned the designation of Certified Green Professional (CGP), Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), and has fulfilled all requirements for his S.C. Safe Home designation.
The Remodeler's Council is one of five councils within the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association. Its purpose is to provide industry education, along with networking and support, to top remodeling contractors, subcontractors and vendors in the tri-county area. The ultimate goal is to actively help members be among the best informed and most ethical representatives of the industry. Founded in 1959, the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders and the Home Builders Association of South Carolina.
