Rob Crawford has launched Renaissance South Construction Co., a general contracting firm specializing in transformation of residential properties. The firm is an affiliate of Urban Proper Redevelopment, also based in Charleston. Renaissance South Construction Co. handles renovations, restorations, additions and accessory dwellings. Services also include remodeling, historic restoration, aging-in-place adaptations, infill construction and major repairs. In addition to the new launch, Crawford has been named chairman of the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association Remodeler's Council for a one-year term. Crawford, voted Remodeler of the Year in 2006 by the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association, has earned the designations of Certified Green Professional and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist and has fulfilled all requirements for the S.C. Safe Home designation.
