Renaissance South Construction Company, an affiliate of Urban Proper Redevelopment, is a general contracting firm that specializes in transforming residential properties into their highest, most elegant and functional form. By combining expert craftsmanship with technology, comfort and energy efficiency, the firm focuses on thoughtful improvements to aging and often historic homes. They also handle additions and new construction that support the nature and character of the original home and surrounding area.
Renaissance South Construction Company understands that over time, people's preferences, needs and lifestyles change. With this in mind, the company works to accommodate those "quality of life" factors, while respecting both privacy and budget. The firm builds and manages renovations and remodeling, historic restoration, "aging-in-place" adaptations, additions, accessory dwellings, infill construction, as well as major repairs. They are also capable of working as part of a design-build team and can incorporate green building techniques into any project.
Working primarily with clients in downtown Charleston, the Old Village of Mount Pleasant and other upscale neighborhoods East of the Cooper, Renaissance South Construction Company views client satisfaction as a basic tenant of every project they undertake. The primary goal is to transform a valuable asset into a timeless space that reflects both the style of the home and objectives of the homeowner.
